Aaron Schuman

Aaron Schuman is a photographer, writer, curator and educator. He is the author of several critically-acclaimed monographs – including Sonata (MACK), Slant (MACK) and FOLK (NB) – exhibits his work internationally, and contributes texts and photographs to books, monographs and magazines such as Aperture, Foam, ArtReview, Frieze, Granta, TIME, The British Journal of Photography and more. Schuman has also curated several festivals – including Krakow Photomonth and JaipurPhoto – as well as exhibitions for the Royal Photographic Society, FotoFest, FOMU Antwerp and elsewhere. He is Associate Professor of Photography & Visual Culture at UWE Bristol.
