Ron Irwin

Dr. Ron Irwin grew up in the United States and has taught in the University of Cape Town Centre for Film and Media since 2009 where he is a Senior Lecturer. He has acted as a brand management consultant to numerous companies, including Strategic Name Development in Minneapolis and Interbrand in New York. He has published and lectured extensively in the field.
Ron holds a Masters in Literary Studies (UCT), a Masters in Creative Writing (UCT) and a PhD in Media Studies (UCT) He is the author of the 2013 novel Flat Water Tuesday and the 2023 novel My Side of the Ocean, both available worldwide.
